The goal of the New Directions Center is to provide a structured, non-traditional alternative learning environment for elementary and middle school students where personal behavior will improve and core-content area instruction will continue.


1. The student will attend 94% of their assigned time.
2. The student will be provided access to an effective skills enhancement 
    program on a daily basis during his/her tenure at the New Directions Center.
3. The parent/guardian will be required to attend a minimum of two parental
     involvement sessions during the student's tenure at the New Directions
4. The student will continue to receive instruction in the four core areas.
